| The President of the Namibia Agricultural Union (NAU) Mr. Ryno van der Merwe was elected in October 2008 at the annual NAU Congress. He holds a BsC honneurs degree from the University of Stellenbosch and farms near Gobabis. He is a recognized Brahman and Beefmaster stud breeder. He has been involved in organized agriculture for the past 18 years. Since 2005 until 2008 he held the position as chairman of the Livestock Producer’s Organisation and is also the chairman of the Board of directors of Agra. | ||
